LTAC/Rehab/Acute
In the LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) and Rehab settings patients have much longer stays than Acute; usually 22-28 days on average. Patients arrive in different conditions and require varying degrees of help for ADL’s. However, they progress to exit the facility in a significantly better condition. Acute facilities usually have stays of 2-5 days and most all hygiene is performed in the bed if they are largely dependent patients.
